Reporter: Could you introduce your company's development history and current status?
Mr. Hu, CIIQ: We are a technology-driven enterprise positioned as a leading brand in China's safe industry and an international supplier of fireproof safes. Established in 1982, CIIQ initially focused on the R&D and manufacturing of precision sheet metal products. In 2008, we made substantial investments to enter the safe industry, and our fireproof safe successfully passed the UL fire resistance test on the first attempt, making us one of only two domestic manufacturers to obtain this international certification at that time. By leveraging our patented Tornado Locking technology and classic leather craftsmanship, we developed anti-theft product series such as Black Shark and Earl for the domestic market, elevating both the security performance and design aesthetics of traditional safes to unprecedented levels. Consequently, our products received overwhelming praise upon launch and were highly sought after by distributors and consumers. Today, CIIQ has become synonymous with premium branding in the industry.
Reporter: As a crucial segment of the security industry, could you share insights into the current development of the safe market?
Mr. Hu, CIIQ: The home safe market in major Chinese cities is currently experiencing robust growth, with a highly optimistic industry outlook. Preliminary projections indicate that market demand for safe products will maintain an annual growth rate of 20% to 30% in the coming years.
Reporter: Sales models are closely tied to profitability. Could you elaborate on your company's primary sales channels for safes?
Mr. Hu, CIIQ: Our sales channels are divided into two main categories based on product positioning: mid-range products are primarily distributed through traditional agency models, sold via CIIQ-branded stores and large retail chains like Suning and Gome; premium products are mainly placed in home furnishing markets such as Red Star Macalline and Yuexing, or promoted through CIIQ-branded corners in luxury sections of departmental stores across various regions.
Reporter: E-commerce has gained significant traction in recent years due to its low cost and expansive reach. What are your views on the prospects of e-commerce for safe sales?
Mr. Hu, CIIQ: I believe e-commerce, with its unparalleled cost efficiency and convenience, will inevitably become the consumption norm for the majority, especially as the post-80s and post-90s generations emerge as the primary consumer base. While safe products will certainly follow this trend, the online sales market for safes is still in its nascent stage and requires time for broader consumer acceptance.
Reporter: The China Safe Direct Sales Platform is a specialized e-commerce website developed with support and guidance from the China Security and Protection Products Industry Association. What advantages and market potential do you see for this platform?
Mr. Hu, CIIQ: Backed by the China Security and Protection Industry Association, the platform inherently carries official credibility in the eyes of consumers. All products sold on the platform are certified by the Ministry of Public Security and are genuine, value-for-money safes. The slogan "Shop on the platform, shop with confidence!" could well become a hallmark of the safe consumer market in the near future. However, the critical challenge for the platform currently lies in rapidly enhancing its visibility and familiarizing consumers with this online shopping channel.
